Don't forget

The formalities :

•  It is imperative that your passport is valid and that the expiration date is not within three months after the end of your stay.

•  For your return you must confirm your return ticket 72 hours before departing. See Mr Mathias CAVALLO or Madeleine at the reception desk of the residence.

•  Take some currency for the airport (2 or 3 euros minimum for the luggage carriers)

•  reservation of a taxi for the transfer either with us or by your own means.

Your suitcase:

•  Cotton clothes and a woollen jumper for sometimes fresh evenings in December and January.

•  For the evenings, clothing that covers legs and arms (mosquitoes love ankles and calves!)

•  During wet season (storms don't last very long), a rain garment is useful.

•  Don't forget repulsive, anti mosquito creams, solar cream, sunglasses, cap or hat (very important in case you go fishing, the sun strikes hard when you're in a canoe).

•  A beach towel, for travelling.

•  A torch for power cuts (they are usually very short, because the generator takes over immediately in case of cuts) but also for evening walks (visit to a restaurant, etc…)

Time lag:

Don't forget to warn your friends and family remaining in your country that the time lag with France or Belgium is of 1H in winter, 2H in summer.
